Japanese Onion Ginger Dressing [お醤油屋の玉ねぎドレッシング] 280ml
A Japanese onion ginger dressing built on chopped onion, the brewery's own soy sauce, vinegar, and a quiet anchovy and bonito background that adds savory depth without reading as fishy. The texture is loose and chunky from the onion, and the flavor is bright, savory, and faintly sweet with the warm aromatic lift of ginger.
Pour over green salads, tomato salads, grilled chicken, beef tataki, seared tuna, and chilled tofu. It also doubles as a sauce for hambagu, gyoza, and steamed vegetables, or a marinade for chicken and pork before grilling.
Made by Naogen Shoyu in Ono, Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, a shoyu brewery with more than two centuries of brewing history that builds its dressings around its own soy sauce.
