How do I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Email hello@mogmog.store as soon as possible with your order number. We cannot guarantee changes once an order is placed, but we will do our best to help before it ships.
How will I know my order was received?
A confirmation email is sent immediately after purchase. Once your order ships, a second email with tracking information will follow.
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift messages?
Not at the moment, but stay tuned.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally?
At this time, MOGMOG ships to the contiguous 48 U.S. states only. Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, and international destinations are not available.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout based on your shipping address. Processing time is separate from transit time.
Is free shipping available?
Yes. Free shipping is available on qualifying orders based on order total and shipping zone. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes. UPS Next Day, 2-Day, and 3-Day options are available. Please reach out to hello@mogmog.store before placing your order, as rates vary by location.
Can you ship to a PO Box?
No. MOGMOG ships via USPS or UPS and is unable to deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
What happens if I am not home when my package arrives?
We recommend tracking your package closely so it is received promptly. MOGMOG is not responsible for spoilage of perishable items left unattended after delivery.
Is local pickup available?
In-store pickup is not available at this time.
Products
Are your products imported directly from Japan?
Yes. The majority of MOGMOG products come directly from small, independent producers in Japan.
Are the labels in English?
Most products are packaged and labeled in Japanese. We do our best to provide accurate translations and ingredient information, though some details may not be fully captured in the description. Always review the physical label before consuming, especially with allergies or dietary restrictions.
How do I find allergen information?
Product descriptions include ingredient information where available. For specific allergen questions before ordering, email hello@mogmog.store.
Are any products restricted from shipping to California?
Yes. Some items may be restricted for shipment to California. Contact us at hello@mogmog.store for details.
What if a product I ordered goes out of stock?
In the rare case a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, a full refund will be issued and you will be notified promptly.
Perishables
How are perishable items packaged?
Perishable orders are packed with care for transit. We recommend being available on your expected delivery day so items are not left unattended.
My perishable order arrived in bad condition. What do I do?
Photograph the package and contents right away and email hello@mogmog.store within 24 hours of delivery. Each case is reviewed individually. Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible for review.
Why are perishables not eligible for free shipping?
Raw perishable frozen goods require special handling. Contact hello@mogmog.store for a shipping quote on these items.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
Non-perishable items may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition. Email hello@mogmog.store with your order number and reason for return to get started. All perishable sales are final.
Who pays for return shipping?
MOGMOG provides a prepaid return label once your return is approved. The cost of that label is deducted from your total refund. Returns sent without prior approval are not eligible for a refund.
How long does a refund take?
Once a return is received, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Late returns that are accepted will be refunded as store credit.
Can I return a sale item?
Sale and flash sale items are final sale and not eligible for return.
I received the wrong item. What should I do?
Email hello@mogmog.store with your order number and a photo. We will make it right.
Shipping Protection
What is Route shipping protection and do I need it?
Route is an optional shipping protection service available at checkout. It covers lost, stolen, or damaged packages in transit. We strongly recommend adding Route to every order, especially for perishable or high-value items. Without it, MOGMOG is not responsible for packages once they leave our hands.
What happens if my package is lost or stolen and I did not add Route?
By declining Route at checkout, responsibility for any transit issues is assumed by the customer. MOGMOG will assist where possible, but a specific outcome cannot be guaranteed. Filing a claim directly with UPS or USPS is the best first step.
My package was damaged in transit and I have Route. How do I file a claim?
Route claims can be filed directly through Route's website or app using your order information. If you need help locating your Route confirmation, email hello@mogmog.store.
Is Route worth it for smaller orders?
Route protection is low cost relative to the value of your order. Given that many MOGMOG products are imported specialty items that may be hard to restock quickly, we recommend it regardless of order size.
Privacy
Do you sell my personal information?
No. Personal information is used solely to process and fulfill orders. MOGMOG does not sell or share customer data with third parties outside of what is necessary to complete a purchase.
How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?
Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or reach out to hello@mogmog.store.
I am a California resident. How do I exercise my data rights?
California residents have the right to know what data is collected, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. MOGMOG does not sell personal information. Reach out to hello@mogmog.store to make a request.
