November 16 – 29, THE GALLERY by Odo
From November 16 to 29, THE GALLERY by Odo hosts an Okinawa fair: Ryukyu glass and crafts to see and buy, and an Okinawan menu by Chef Odo. A public Showcase Day falls on the 22nd, and Monday, November 23 is set aside for the trade.

The Glass
Born from bottles melted down after the war, Ryukyu glass is still shaped by hand in Itoman, Okinawa. Bubbles and color make every piece its own.

What the Island Reflects
Each series holds a different Okinawa: its sea, its stars, its old stone paths. Some are by a Contemporary Master Craftsman, among Japan’s most honored artists.

A Taste of the Island
(B to C Event)
Chef Odo creates a menu with Okinawan ingredients, from kokuto brown sugar and island sea salt to more on the night. Okinawans call food that does you good nuchigusui. Come taste the island. On Sunday, November 22, our Showcase Day brings more pieces and series on view. Take select pieces home that day, or shop everything at MOGMOG Online Store.
