Dragon Palace Forest “Ryūgū no Mori” Glow-in-the-Dark Glass [龍宮の森 蓄光グラス]
Made to order in Okinawa. Please allow up to 8 weeks for delivery. See our Ryukyu Glass Policy.
Ryugu no Mori means the forest of the dragon palace, the undersea world of the old story. A luminous material in the body of the glass holds light and gives it back, so leave the piece under a lamp for a while and then turn the room dark. Hand formed in Itoman, Okinawa.
An everyday glass. Water in the morning, something stronger after dark.
Every piece is made by hand, so size, color, pattern and the way the bubbles sit will differ from one to the next. Not heatproof. Keep it out of the dishwasher, the drying cabinet and the freezer.
