Description

This soy sauce is built for tamago kake gohan (raw egg over rice), pairing umami-rich honjozo shoyu with bonito dashi.

The base is additive-free, so the flavor stays clean and direct, with hon-mirin and refined sake rounding the edges. Pour over a beaten raw egg and warm rice for the classic Japanese breakfast, or use it more broadly as a dashi-shoyu for chilled tofu, grilled fish, and simmered dishes.
