Okinawan Cane Sugar with Brown Sugar [沖縄のさとうきび糖] 500g
Okinawan cane sugar is made using only two ingredients, both pressed from sugarcane grown in Okinawa: raw sugar and kokuto. It keeps the depth and aroma of Okinawan kokuto while finishing at a softer, more rounded sweetness that is easy to spoon.
Use it anywhere you would use brown sugar, in cooking and baking and in coffee and tea. It is lovely folded into a dark, glossy candied sweet potato, or spooned into a cup with a little ginger and hot water for a warming ginger and kokuto drink.
