"Unro" Sencha [煎茶 雲露] 80g
Unro is a mid-grade sencha in an 80g pouch, blended from Kyoto and Shiga leaves. The pouch sits comfortably between everyday drinking and a slightly more attentive cup.
The flavor is crisp and vegetal, with a soft floral top note and gentle umami in the finish. Steep 5g of leaves in 210ml of 80°C water for about a minute for a bright green cup. A second steep at slightly hotter water draws out a brisker, more bracing flavor.
