Itoman Biyori means a fine day in Itoman. The color is called sora, the word for sky, and it is the color of a clear day over the south of the island. These are pieces for ordinary days rather than occasions. Hand formed in Itoman, Okinawa.
This one is sky. An everyday glass. Water in the morning, something stronger after dark.
Every piece is made by hand, so size, color, pattern and the way the bubbles sit will differ from one to the next. Not heatproof. Keep it out of the dishwasher, the drying cabinet and the freezer.
