A two serving ramen kit built around a bright yuzu koji broth and Slurpeak's craft dried noodles made with American-grown wheat. The thin, angel hair like noodles are designed to carry the soup cleanly, giving the bowl a fresh style texture without feeling like instant ramen. The tare base layers soy sauce, white miso, mirin, sake, and yuzu oil with dried scallion and cabbage, creating a citrus forward bowl with clean shoyu and miso depth and a fragrant yuzu lift.
Bring the soup base up to temperature, boil the noodles in plenty of unsalted water, drain, and combine. Finish with the dried vegetables and any toppings you have on hand: a soft boiled egg, sliced chashu, blanched spinach, menma, nori, or a squeeze of fresh yuzu or lemon. Vegan friendly as packaged when served without animal toppings.
