Three tiers, 38 dishes, each prepared by hand with a wish for the year ahead: sweet black soybeans for good health, tiger prawns for long life, kumquats for prosperity, and a finale of fresh sashimi and festive rolls.
Pickup
Thursday, December 31, 2026, 1:00 to 5:00 PM, in-store only at MOGMOG, 5-35 51st Ave, Long Island City. You choose a 30-minute pickup slot when you reserve. All Osechi boxes are available by advance reservation only and in limited quantities.
How to reserve
Reserve online at mogmog.store/pages/osechi-2027. Reservation and payment are completed together, so your box is secured the moment you order. Your confirmation arrives by email right away, and on December 29 we will send one more email confirming your pickup time.
Two gifts with every box
Hanabira-mochi by OGAWAGASHI, a New Year's sweet once served at the Imperial Court, and Obukucha by Ippodo, the Good Fortune Tea poured on the first morning of the year.
The three tiers
First Tier · The Celebration Layer (12 dishes): black soybeans, simmered octopus, ginkgo nuts, tiger prawns, sake-steamed abalone, roast beef, scallops in sansho oil, vinegared Spanish mackerel, red and white fish cake, candied kumquat, herring roe, karasumi by Amano Itadaki.
Second Tier · The Harmony Layer (11 dishes): roasted duck breast, kelp roll with cod roe, plum-shaped carrot, bamboo shoots, datemaki, chicken dumplings, kenchin roll, braided konjac, glazed shiitake, eel rolled with burdock, simmered taro.
Third Tier · The Grace Layer (15 dishes): salmon roe, temari fu, kurikinton, mirin-dried codfish, tazukuri, sweet potato terrine, matsukaze-yaki, lotus root, ryuhimaki, vinegared burdock, chrysanthemum turnip, nishikigami-maki, dried persimmon with cheese, chestnuts two ways.

Once purchased, orders cannot be cancelled or changed. We cannot change the menu or accommodate individual allergies. Pickup is not available earlier than your reserved time, and boxes not picked up by 5:00 PM are released without refund.
