How about Mentaiko over rice and Tonjiru today?
Mentaiko is a Japanese dish made of pollock roe, or eggs, pickled in various ingredients which makes it savory.
Tonjiru, literally meaning “pork (ton) soup (jiru)”, is basically miso soup with pork and root vegetables such as Daikon, Carrot, and Burdock. One of the cold weather staple food, but can enjoy all through the year.
